Luke Williams was Hollywood’s heartthrob. After the end of his successful Nightwalkers movie series he walked away from acting to live a private life away from the nosy paparazzi and insistent fans. Fast forward five years later, Luke, now living in a small coastal town in the Pacific Northwest runs into a sexy photographer who he mistakenly thinks is out taking pictures of him. Natalie Conner is out early one morning capturing the beautiful imagery of the Puget Sound when out of the blue she is accosted by a tall, handsome stranger demanding her prized camera. She has no clue who the guy is and thinks he’s nuts. After showing him her photos and proving none are of him, he relents. Sparks instantly strike but Natalie walks away feeling overwhelmed by him.
Of course Natalie and Luke run into each other again and this time she gives in. It’s refreshing for Luke to find someone who honestly has no idea who he is. He can let his guard down. Natalie has never really been in a relationship before; this is a whole new territory for her. They both have trust issues and some emotional challenges to overcome. But, oh Dear Lord, no problems what so over in the passion department. Holy hell the sex was freakin’ hot! Luke, oh Luke! I want a Luke! This man is hot, sexy, alpha and romantic as all hell. The way he romances Natalie will leave you swooning just as she was.
This was a great start to a new series. I’m looking forward to reading the next book and hope to catch glimpses of Luke and Natalie in it.
