GOOD BOY vs BAD BOY: Lea Barrymire & Tracey Sinclair

1 Name and which book you’re from. Are you good or bad?
I’m Alex. Alexandre to most fanged beings. I save the day for poor Nickola and his cat in ‘Half in Love’, but I have a much larger part in ‘Half Insane’, as it should be.  My book will be out as soon as the author finishes getting the details to my liking. Oh, and I’m a bad, bad boy. *grinning with a little fang showing*
2. It’s Valentine’s Day. What kind of night do you have planned for your lady friend?
I don’t plan things for specific evenings. Valentine’s Day is just an excuse for mortal men to suck up to their females. My mate needs no special nights to know how much I adore her. Although, if she needs more convincing I may deign to show her with a rousing game of cat and mouse, where, of course, I am the predator.

3.  If you could wield cupids bow and arrow, who would you shoot and why?
Would it kill the person I shoot at? No? *shaking his head* Well, then I’d point the damned thing at Nickola’s brother-in-laws. Those two buffoons are irritating and could use to be knocked down a peg or two by finding their mate. Imbeciles thought to step between Paige and myself. They are immensely lucky I didn’t bleed them to death.
4. Whisper sweet nothings in my ear telling me what you will do to me on Valentine’s.
Are you sure you can take it? *smirking* Come closer… I don’t want you to miss a single syllable. I’m going to strip you of your clothing and your modesty, put you on display for your eyes only and drink you until you come. Oh, you thought I meant with my eyes? *chuckling* Oh, no dearest, I meant would my lips pinned against your skin. I’ll tease you until you’re begging me for something, and only then will I allow my fangs to penetrate you, slide into your skin and I’ll drink my fill while you thrash below me.

5. While us ladies love to be wined, dined, and *clears throat* loved on Valentine’s… What is it you men want most on Valentine’s?
All this talk of Valentine’s Day. *sighing* I guess in all truthfulness I’d like to be wined and dined as well. I’ve spent centuries doing those things for countless, nameless women. Now that I have Paige I’d enjoy being pampered some. Spending that time with my mate would be priceless.
6. Give me your sweetest/dirtiest twitter message (140 characters)
I can’t wait to get home, between those creamy thighs and feast upon you until I’m sated. I ache to taste you. Be naked and waiting.
7. What do you look for in a woman?
I had no discernible taste in women prior to this year. Spending as much time between spread legs will do that to a male. Now, I only want my feisty mate. She can ‘give as good as she gets’ as mortals say these days. She’s brave, stubborn and beautiful.
Lightening Speed questions
Blondes, Redhead’s, or Brunettes?  Black hair, long and wavy.
Boxer’s or Briefs? *scoffs* neither, but if I must choose boxer’s
Chocolate, Strawberry  or Vanilla? Chocolate

Soft and Sweet or Up Against the Wall? Oh, definitely against a wall
Rain or Snow? Rain
Cabin or Beach Villa? Beach villa
Alex’s Limericks…
Dark upon a midnight street
There he and she did meet
Captivated he became by the thoughts that sped,
Through her raven-haired head.
She fought the pull,
But in the end they fell in bed,
Love between them the best you’ve read.
Snippet from Half in Love:
“You, milady, are an unknown. Can you make others? Would they be shifter and vampire as well?” Alex tilted his head, studying her with his black eyes. “Could you possibly carry a vampire and shifter baby?”
Those words punched into Willie’s heart with the speed and pain of a bullet. A baby? God, she hadn’t even thought of the possibilities. Would her offspring be part vampire? Could she even get pregnant after her change? Pain lanced through her soul at the thought of being barren and never being able to have children. Is that why she was fated with a vampire mate?
“I see you hadn’t thought through these same questions.” Alex nodded his head as if some of his questions had been answered. “These are things the Council is concerned with. You will be asked to go in front of them and tell your story. Then they will determine what is to be done with you.”
“Done with me? I’m not a vampire. They have no power over me.” She growled. Nick placed a restraining hand on her arm, and she shook it off, scowling at him. He might be able to sit there and listen to this crap, but she couldn’t.
“Ah, but you are part vampire. That part is ruled over by the Council. You’re lucky they want to meet you first instead of just having one of their assassins kill you. You’re an abomination to some, you know, that needs to be put down.”
“Are you trying to piss me off?” She hissed. Her canines started to descend, cutting into her bottom lip. She refused to give in and attack this male. There was no way she could win in a fight against the ancient bloodsucker no matter how much she wanted to take him on. She tried to breathe through the rage, tried to remind herself that this was not the way to deal with him.
Alex laughed, rich and dark, and turned to Nick. “When you tire of her, I’d like to borrow her. Her spunk is refreshing. Does her anger translate to the bed as well?”

1. Name and which book you’re from. Are you good or bad?

Cain, from Dark Dates. I kill lots of bad guys, so that must make me the good guy, right? I just seem to sometimes have a hard time convincing people of that. I think the vampires have better PR.
2. It’s Valentine’s Day. What kind of night do you have planned for your lady friend?
Y’know, I met Valentine once, and he was a dick, so I don’t get why suddenly he gets a day named after him.
3.  If you could wield Cupid’s bow and arrow, who would you shoot and why?
Cupid – also a dick. I’m happy to take another weapon, though, to add to my collection.
4. Whisper sweet nothings in my ear telling me what you will do to me on Valentine’s.
I’m more of a do-er than a talker…
5. While us ladies love to be wined, dined, and *clears throat* loved on Valentine’s… What is it you men want most on Valentine’s?
To not have some dumb holiday tell me I have to be romantic, probably…
6. Give me your sweetest/dirtiest Twitter message (140 characters)
What’s Twitter?
7. What do you look for in a woman?
A sense of humour, bravery, loyalty and a kick ass attitude – and the ability to handle weaponry is a plus. (Um, yeah, I should point out that’s not a euphemism…)
Lightning Speed questions
Blondes, Redheads, or Brunettes?
I don’t have a preference as to hair or skin colour or height, size or shape – none of that matters, really. You humans are weird about this shit.
Boxers or Briefs?
Yeah, I’m not talking to you about my underwear. The only person who needs to know that is the one taking it off.
Chocolate, Strawberry  or Vanilla?
I really don’t care. Again, humans are weird.
Soft and Sweet or Up Against the Wall?
Depends on the location, situation and time available – ideally plenty of both.
Rain or Snow?
Sun, though I seem to be spending a lot of time in London lately so I’m seeing plenty of rain.
Cabin or Beach Villa?
Open road, always.
Cain’s Limerick…
There once was a hunter called Cain
Who liked causing vampires great pain
His style got a cramp
When allied with a vamp
Now the two drive each other insane

Dark Dates

All Cassandra Bick wants is to be left to get on with doing her job. But when you’re a Sensitive whose business is running a dating agency for vampires, life is never going to be straightforward – especially when there’s a supernatural war brewing in London, a sexy new bloodsucker in town and your mysterious, homicidal and vampire hating ex-lover chooses this moment to reappear in your life…

Witty, sharp and entertaining, Dark Dates is a heady mix of vampires, witches and werewolves – with the occasional angel thrown in – and introduces Cassandra Bick, a likeable heroine destined to join the ranks of fantasy’s feistiest females.

  1. Thank you so much for having Alex on today. He's a bit of a pompous ass, but he'll get what's coming to him in 'Half Insane'. I'm just putting the finishing touches on it now, so it will be releasing later this year.

  2. My favorite book bad boy is Kellan from Thoughtless/Effortless because despite it all he's still a good guy with a sweet soul. Thanks for doing an awesome giveaway 🙂

  3. I guess I like a combination of bad and good. My favorite bad boy would be Eric Northman from The Sookie Stackhouse books. Thanks for the giveaway!
