From an early age, Melissa loved to read. First, it was the books her mother read to her including her two favorites, Winnie the Pooh and the Beatrix Potter books. She cut her preteen teeth on Trixie Belden and read and reviewed To Kill a Mockingbird in middle school. It wasn’t until she was in college that she tried to write her first stories, which were full of angst and pain, and really not that fun to read or write. After trying several different genres, she found romance in a Linda Howard book.

Since the publication of her first book in 2004, Melissa has had close to fifty romances published. She writes in genres from historical suspense to modern day erotic romance to futuristics and paranormals. Included in those releases is the bestselling Harmless series. In 2011, Melissa branched out into self-publishing with A Little Harmless Submission and the popular military spinoff, Infatuation: A Little Harmless Military Romance. Along the way she has garnered an epic nomination, a multitude of reviewer’s recommended reads, over five Capa nods from TRS, twelve nominations for AAD Bookies, winning both Most Accessible Author and Author of the Year, and regularly tops the best seller lists on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. She recently had her first USA Today bestselling book, The Santinis Collection.
Since she spent her childhood as a military brat, Melissa swore never to marry military. But, as we all know, Fate has her way with mortals. She is married to an AF major and is raising her own brats, both human and canine. She spends her days giving in to her addiction to Twitter, happy her husband is finally retired and they are living where the bugs die in the winter.

“I promise,” Ellis agreed so that she would calm down. “You all right?” he whispered against her hair. Clairey wrapped her arms around his waist, nodding her head against his shoulder. The brush of her body against his made Ellis forget completely about her father, about his desire to go hunt him down and make him pay. Holding her like that was touching on something he had forbidden himself from considering up to that point. He began to berate himself inwardly but stopped, utterly tired of fighting his natural instincts.

He recalled randomly how it had been the warmth of her body that had sustained him that long night in his truck on the side of the road, her body that had kept him from death in the bitter cold. Ellis leaned into Clairey, pressing her between himself and the wall, relishing the feel of her in his arms. Was it his imagination that she was clinging to him too? I’ll touch her face, and she’ll stop me, he thought, and that will be the end of it. He felt the hammering pulse in her neck, fast and insistent. Ellis remembered how he had held a frightened, wild rabbit in his hands when he was a child, and how its heart had beat similarly. Will she stop me? he wondered. He felt inhibited by his ignorance of women and by his inability to know what she was thinking.
Clairey could feel the change in him, how the lines of his muscles had seemed to soften and relax. He slid his hands down her arms, his fingers leaving a slow trail, his breath heavy and uneven as he stood before her, face to face. There was something in his eyes that she couldn’t read, although it seemed surprisingly like bashfulness. Ellis had always seemed so confident, so sure of himself. It was something she had admired very much about him. Yet there he was, showing vulnerability. She realized he must have been as insecure as she was, and it somehow made her more self-assured.
He leaned down and put his lips to hers, barely touching in an almost kiss, just enough to send goose bumps over her body, so that they were exchanging breaths, his sweet and alluring. Perhaps he was expecting that at that point she would protest, make him stop, but she didn’t. She simply stood there perfectly still, trying to get her emotions in check as she struggled to stop crying. His hands and lips were gentle, uncertain, inquisitively slow and deliberate as he explored her face. He put his fingers to her throat and her collar bone. Now and then he looked into her eyes, as if he were asking her without words if she approved or if she wanted him to stop.

Blog Tour, Guest Post & Giveaway: Safe With Me (With Me in Seattle #5) by Kristen Proby

Okay, so I’ve only been waiting for this story for the past few books.  No big, right.  Pfft.  I’m a patient girl.  NOT!!!  I’ve been dying for Brynna’s story since Under the Mistletoe With Me.  Brynna Vincent is on the run from some kind of dangerous threat.  Matt and Caleb Montgomery have been working to keep her and her twin daughters safe.  During the course of the series we have seen something brewing between Brynna and Caleb.  Finally, FINALLY, we get their story.

Light up the fireworks.  Shoot off the confetti canons.  Safe With Me has arrived!
The Queen of Swoon has done it again!  Caleb Montgomery, as like most men in this series, is H-O-T!  He’s a badass ex Navy Seal.  He’s a Montgomery.  Need I really say more?  Yes, yes I must because there is so much more to Caleb than his physical attributes and his DNA.  He’s a protector.  A hero.  And sadly, he’s a bit damaged.  His last mission left him with deep, emotional wounds; demons that he can’t escape.  Over the past year of watching over Brynna and her girls, they have been carving their way into his heart.  He’s grown attached to them and vice versa.  Unfortunately, he thinks he’s undeserving of them and this way of thinking leads him to making the biggest mistake he’ll ever make.  A mistake that not only results in heartache, but one that may cost Brynna and her daughters their life.
Brynna Vincent has my upmost respect.  She’s a mom who, regardless of being married at one time to her girls’ dad, was basically already living a single mom life.  Her ex-husband was married to his job.  He let that take precedence over his family.  It’s sad that he never really bothered to get to know his girls; they are the sweetest little things.  Brynna is so strong.  Over the years she’s had to endure a lot.  Now with danger on her trail and Caleb protecting her, her life isn’t the only thing at risk.  Caleb is the first man since her ex to pique her interest.  She wants him.  She knows he feels it too.  So why not get together?  Why does he keep fighting what’s between them?  She swore to herself she wouldn’t beg for a man’s affections ever again.  If he turns his back on her, that’s it, they’re done.
Oh, Ms. Proby had my stomach in knots with this one.  Safe With Me had me reaching for a tissue one minute and in the next I’m reaching for Tums.  It was the perfect amount of angst, heat, and emotion.  And if the turmoil between Caleb and Brynna wasn’t enough, she dropped a major bombshell on us that left me speechless.  From a writing standpoint, I’d say it was brilliant.  The one thing I have continued to say about this series is that Kristen Proby writes like real life.  Real life continues, evolves and at times aches.  She showed us just how real the Montgomerys are.  They are not as perfect as they seem.  There’s a crack in the façade.  But like true Montgomery fashion, above all else is love.  What doesn’t kill us, makes us stronger, right?
Now that I’ve inhaled this one, I shall “patiently” wait for the next installment.

Twenty five random things about Kristen Proby:
1.  I hate wearing socks.
2.  I love artichokes.
3.  I never wear lipstick.
4.  Toenails should always be painted red.
5.  I have schitzophrenic handwriting. It’s never the same.
6.  I can recite most of The Goonies.
7.  When I drive, I’m pretty sure I sound exactly like Adele when I sing along with her.
8.  I want to marry Roarke from the In Death series by Nora Roberts.
9.  I used to be a massage therapist.
10. My cat’s name is Maggie.
11. I hate roadtrips. I’d rather fly.
12. The only flavor of cough drops I’ll buy are the mentholyptus ones.
13. Pistachios are delicious.
14. My husband is allergic to all nuts, and if I eat pistachios, I can’t kiss him.
15. I eat pistachios when I’m mad at my husband.
16. I work roughly seventy hours a week.
17. My dream vacation is Italy.
18. I worked in a movie theater in high school.
19. I come from an artistic family.

Review and Guest Post: Deep Space Mission Corps Series by Tymber Dalton

Today we’re talking about the Deep Space Mission Corps Series by Tymber Dalton. Let me tell you, this is one HOT series! I’ve loved all four of the books. I was thrilled to find out that Ms. Dalton has more planned for the series! Yippee! I’m reviewing all four books in the series in one post.

Ms. Dalton was kind enough to send us a little bit of information about the Series!  Be sure to check it out! Especially if you like Menage with some Science Fiction!

Love at First Bight introduces us to the main characters of this series. In fact the series sticks with the same characters throughout. They just find themselves in some unique and harrowing situations!
I was hooked on Love at First Bight from the very beginning. The world created by Tymber Dalton was amazing. I was intrigued by the way things work in this world. The open and accepting nature of everyone along with the job benefits available? Oh My! Get ready to want to go to the future!

Aaron, Caph, Ford and Emilia are all loveable and compliment each other so well. They are truly meant to be together. At one point in this book I was crying crocodile tears. I was so into the story and the characters meant so much to me. I was ready to throw my e-reader across the room! I couldn’t believe this was happening! Then the twist came. OMFG! Really? It was a phenomenal twist and made the story that much better!
Bightmares continues the story of the characters we met in Love at First Bight. Everyone is settling into their roles, both on the ship and with each other. They get called out to handle a distress signal and end up fighting to keep their lives!
There’s a very nice tie-in to the first novel with this story. We only got snippets of life for Aaron, Caph and Ford prior to them meeting and joining with Emilia. That part of their lives is interwoven throughout this series and it adds a depth not only to the characters but to the story as well. Their lives from before Emilia continue to impact their lives together now.
There was some very nice tension in this story. I will admit I figured out one element of the problem early on. I didn’t have the full solution until the very end though. It was a very intriguing complication!

Spiderbight picks up right where Bightmares leaves off.  This poor crew can’t get a break for anything!
In Spiderbight we get to meet some of the other species that are in space. Their views and how they handle things are very different from us. It creates some problems for the crew and they end up in a pretty bad situation.
While all of the stories in this series are erotic (duh…it’s Tymber Dalton), this one was far more graphic than the others. There were some situations in this one that can easily make some uncomfortable. Boundaries will definitely be stretched in this one. We have dubious-consent and some non-con involved in this one, so be warned!
Even though we meet a new species in this one, the story was pretty straightforward. There wasn’t as much suspense in this one as the others. Even without the suspense, it did provide for some pretty tense moments!
Out of Sight, Out of Mind continues the story of Emilia, Aaron, Caph and Ford. They’re once again off into deep space. This time they pick up a new crew member. Emilia does not like this crew member. He creeps her out and she wants nothing to do with him. Unfortunately Aaron, Caph and Ford don’t have the creepy vibe from him. Could be the whole empathy thing!
Sure enough, Emilia is right and they end up in a REALLY bad situation (again). This time Emilia if fighting for her life. Aaron, Caph and Ford are racing to try to save her. They can’t lose another person they love. It would destroy them all.
The tension in this one was intense. I felt for Emilia the entire time. I was on the edge of my seat and couldn’t believe what was going on. I was horrified for Emilia and really wanted to smack Aaron upside the head with a two-by-four!
By the end of the story I was heartbroken for the crew while at the same time I was rejoicing for them. It’s an interesting dynamic. I loved the new species we met. They were probably the most interesting of all we’ve met so far (IMHO).
This series is definitely worth reading! I’m also thrilled to find out that Tymber Dalton is planning at least one more for this series. It’s been great fun following the same characters throughout the series. Watching them grow as a family and individually has been fun. Bring on the next one!

Find it on GoodReads!
The Deep Space Mission Corps series is near and dear to my heart for a few reasons. It was one of the first series I wrote (and it’s still not finished). The first book, Love at First Bight, was actually written on a tiny Asus EEEpc netbook, using a USB keyboard and mouse (because the keyboard is so tiny) on Open Office. My big Toshiba laptop screen died, and I had to get it in for repairs.
Fortunately, I didn’t go blind or hunch-backed from the tiny screen. LOL
That is definitely one way to keep focused on the writing, however. When you know getting the book done can’t be delayed, and the “computer” is too uncomfortable to use for much else.
I envisioned the Tamora Bight, the ship the characters use, I envision as a cross between the freighter from Aliens, but more spartan, cleaner, and better lit, like the original Star Trek’s Enterprise. (Also minus acid-drooling aliens!)
I grew up loving the original Star Trek and Doctor Who series. When I write sci-fi, it tends to come from those origins, character-driven, instead of technology-focused. The technology isn’t the main story. The interaction between the characters and the trials they go through, that’s my focus.
The first four books—Love at First Bight, Bightmares, Spider Bight, and Out of Bight, Out of Mind—were the original characters’ story arc. There will be more books coming involving crews of the other ships, after I get a few other sets of “voices” out of the way first.
Another trivia fact about the series: most of the character names come from Shakespearean works. It’s also the first book I wrote where I actually managed to catch my husband by surprise with the twist at the ending. (He’s extremely hard to do that with.)

Review: Turn Towards The Sun (The Sunflower Trilogy Book 1) by Jennifer Domenico

Ava Bradshaw is stuck in mid-flight. On the edge of her thirtieth birthday, she finally ends a devastatingly bad relationship that left her wounded and insecure. With a plane ticket in her hand, she sets out to make a life for herself in sunny Phoenix, Arizona.

What she didn’t plan on was meeting the intense Italian architect Enzo Milano, a local celebrity in Phoenix. The handsome and commanding Enzo sweeps the passionate and vibrant Ava into his world of galas, prestige, luxury, and money.

Enzo is charming, breathtakingly gorgeous, and a self-made American success story. He’s also a seasoned womanizer who has zero interest in relationships. Still, he can’t deny there is something special about Ava and considers trying an old-fashioned romance.

Sexy, humorous, and touching, Turn Towards the Sun will resonate with any woman whose life didn’t quite work out as she planned.

Turn Towards The Sun is the first book in the Sunflower Trilogy by Jennifer Domenico.  You meet Ava when she is on her flight to Arizona, she gets bumped up to first class where she sits next to the sexy Enzo.  She is instantly attracted to Enzo but he comes off a little cold at times and rude, but slowly that fades away.  She has no idea who Enzo is or that he is a rich playboy.  When he puts her up in one of his hotels and begins to spoil her, she has a time dealing with it.  What she doesn’t know is that Enzo is very much attracted to her and wants her for his own.  Too bad she has to deal with a jealous bitch who is nasty to her every chance she gets.

Enzo is a sexy Italian architect who is known as a major playboy seen with different women all the time, but there is something about Ava that makes him want to change his ways.  Enzo at times seems insecure about Ava leaving him, you can tell there is something or someone in his past that has hurt him.  He wants Ava as his own and sets out to spoil her and make her his.

I liked this book, it is the start of a fairytale type romance where the prince comes and sweeps the princess off her feet type of book.  There is more to it though, it was sexy and sweet.  There is also a little mystery to it as well.  While at times it did move a little slow then at others it seemed a little rushed, overall it was an enjoyable book.  There is a cliffhanger so be forewarned.  I will like to continue reading this trilogy just to see if Ava and Enzo will get their fairytale Happily Ever After or if people or events will tear them apart.

Jerk of My Dreams #25

Jerk. Asshole. Douchenozzle. Admit it- you hate to love the jerks. That alpha male character who is so arrogant and rude but sexy as hell. That foul mouthed douche bag of a man who rocks your traitorous heart. We’ve all read them and we’ve all liked them to some extent. In real life you wouldn’t touch the man with a ten foot pole. But in the fictional world? Nothing can stand in the way! Everyone would be lying to themselves if they didn’t admit that the meaner the man, the further we run… Towards them! *sigh*

That’s what this weekly meme is about- those jerky delicious men! Each Friday this meme will go up, and you can share your jerk anyway you want: review, interview, lines and quotes, giveaway of a book. However you want! All you have to do is sign up HERE and follow the linky. Any time you comment on someones post, leave your link so that person can comment back.

This is how I feel right now after finishing this book. Gotta love gifs.

I know, I know she did not leave me like this. She couldn’t possibly, right? I’m about to go ape shit crazy right now!

I don’t go fan girl crazy. Ever. It’s not in my bones to, but imma about to go stage 5 clinger crazy and get into my car and drive up to Georgia to find this author!
<img class="escapedImg" src="https://encrypted-tbn1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcR6LmRKXInBUJ6K9uUjtbgEFZHN6LhHKYhi3-Ab8ef4Qi2mq6TbQg
” />
And once I do, I’m going to duct tape her to a wall and make her tell me in detail what is to come in this series! BECAUSE I AM DYING RIGHT NOW.

I’m not above doing it either. Just sayin’.

I try not to curse in my reviews. Really, I do. But sometimes a good FUCK is needed. GOOD was unfucking believable! It makes me want to run in circles and shout curse words in multiple languages as loud as I can! How the hell am I suppose to read anything after this???! You’ve ruined me, S. RUINED ME.

I seriously need to contain myself right now, but I’m having a hard time doing so, obviously.

K..here goes…

GOOD came in for review I got excited, but then quickly became disappointed. It’s a teacher/student book and dear God how I love that theme, but not one has been done right in my opinion. They all leave me yearning for more. It drives me crazy too! How hard is it to get the damn story right? This kind of theme needs build up, lots and lots of intense build up. It also needs tension in all forms, friction and heavy emotions. But most importantly it also needs DEVELOPMENT, which lacks in most teacher/student books. I don’t want, ‘hey baby, let’s shag’ in the first few chapters. And for some reason, no one gets the build up and relationship development right. But S. Walden does and it’s juicy. Unbelievably juicy. Best part of all? there’s sex!!! YES! SEX!

Cadence is being punished for a huge mistake she made. Her extremely religious parents were humiliated and beyond shocked by her actions to the point where they carted her off for ten months. Now that she’s returned to high school her senior year, she’s being bullied on a daily basis by her peers. She tries desperately to go with the flow with these mean girls on the outside, but on the inside she’s hurting. She’s lost all her friends, including her best friend since her little stint that landed her in juvie.

Enter the sexy and deviant Mr. Connelly aka Mark. He’s Cadence’s 28 year old math teacher. He see’s beyond Cadence’s facade and tries to help her, but on a completely platonic level. Unbeknownst to Mark and Cadence, a forbidden relationship is developing between them under his watch. Simple acts of kindness lead to an intense romance that could ruin each of their futures. Much is at stake for both of them. But is it worth it in the end?

We didn’t learn much about Mark, which I kind of liked (surprisingly) but I have a feeling it’s coming in the next book. I think he truly loves Cadence, but his words and actions during a highly intense scene left me reeling and questioning him. I was hurting so bad for Cadence and for Mark to say what he did…yeah. I wanted to strangle him. He made up for it and apologized, but it stuck with me. With the way Good ended, I’m on the edge waiting to see what he does next, if what he said he means.

S. Walden has a beautiful literary voice with hints of sarcasm and a well developed storyline. I cannot wait to read more books by this author. Simply superb in my eyes!

COVER REVEAL: What’s Left of Me by Amanda Maxlyn

Life works in mysterious ways.
Four years ago I became known as the girl with cancer.
 I refuse to cry.
And I refuse to give in.
A relationship with a man is the last thing I’m looking for right now, but one night with Parker changes everything.
He is persistent, and he knows what he wants. Me.
He doesn’t treat me like I’m fragile.
But he doesn’t know, and I’m not ready to tell him.
What if it changes everything?
Tragedy found me when I was seventeen.
Love found me when I was twenty-one.

My name is Aundrea McCall, and this is my journey.

I’m grateful when I reach the door to the ladies room that there isn’t anyone around. I reach for the handle when I hear from behind me, “Not going to use the men’s room again?” I know that sexy voice. It’s the same one as earlier this evening in this same area.
With my heart picking up pace, I turn around smiling sweetly, “No, I’m going to sit down and pee this time.” My smile spreads a little wider and I say a silent thanks to sweet baby Jesus for letting me find my voice this time.
He doesn’t respond. He just steps closer to me with the corner of his lips spreading upward.
I don’t breathe.
I can’t breathe. Not when he is this close.
God he smells amazing. Like a mixture of spice and mint. Maybe a hint of beer too. It’s the type of scent that would awaken a primal desire within any female, and good God do I feel awakened.
“You ran off before I could thank you for the dance earlier.” No, thank you. His voice is a faint whisper and his face is now so close that our noses are almost touching. I glance down at his very attractive red lips just as the corners of his mouth move up into the most beautiful smile. Shit. He knows I’m looking at his lips.
I’m transfixed by him. In this very moment, I would do whatever he said or answer to any name he called; even if it was one of those fluffy names like baby or princess. All I can think about is the desire flowing through my body for those lips to be on mine. I would take him in this hallway. There I said it. Or, did I think it?
Do something.
I look back at his lips.
I lick my own.
I can’t think about anything but wanting to feel his lips against mine. All thoughts go out the window of me not being able to pick up a man at a bar. I don’t care, but I will say any cheesy pick up line if it means I get to go home with him.
I know he’s watching me. He has to be thinking about my lips too because just then his tongue comes out licking his own. I try to think of something else to do, but nothing comes to mind. I feel him close the distance between us. He puts a finger under my chin for the second time tonight lifting my face so I’m looking right into his eyes. Without taking his eyes off mine he speaks in a quiet, low, raspy whisper, “I’m going to kiss you now.”
Without waiting for my permission, his lips crash down against mine. He takes my top lip into his mouth tugging ever so gently. I let out a soft moan as his tongue lightly traces my lips- tasting me. I can smell the fresh mint and beer off his breath and all I can think about is tasting it. I grab his neck brining him closer -opening my mouth- inviting him in. He groans as I wrap my arms around his neck running my hands through his hair.
Shit, if I die tomorrow, I can die a happy woman knowing this was my last kiss.
His tongue enters my mouth and I meet it with my own. He reaches down to lift me up and I let him. I wrap my legs around his waist just as he slams my back against the wall in the corner of the hallway. There’s a rush of pain that shoots down my legs causing me to cry out. He must take that as a cry of pleasure because he kisses me harder.
I feel my dress rise all the way to my waist exposing myself for anyone that walks by. My head falls back against the wall and he immediately starts kissing down my chin to my neck, then up to my earlobe bringing it into his mouth biting down. “Do you want to get out of here?” He whispers so softly into my ear I almost don’t think I hear him correctly. When he asks me again I just nod in agreement. Afraid if I were to say anything it wouldn’t be yes, and I really want it to be yes.
Setting me down, he runs his hands over my dress laying it back into place, then grabs my hand and starts speed walking away heading towards the red exit sign.

REVIEW: Stinger by Mia Sheridan

Grace Hamilton was the girl with a plan. She knew exactly where her life was going and prided herself on always achieving her goals. It was who she was, and how she lived her life. She never stepped outside the lines, and never considered what she might desire and whom she was actually trying so hard to please. Until him…

Carson Stinger was a man who didn’t play by any rules except his own. Working in the adult entertainment industry, he didn’t care what others thought, and took each day as it came, no direction, no plan. He knew what women wanted from him and believed it was all he had to offer. Until her…

When circumstances forced them to spend several hours together, they walked away changed. But for two people who never should have meshed, overcoming the reality of their vastly different lives wasn’t possible. At least not yet…

My Review:

Man, another good one by Mia Sheridan. A very different story than her other two works. However, it has what you loved from her other books. Characters with troubled pasts trying to make their way in life.

Okay so let’s start in with the most glaring of things about this book. The hero is a porn star. Yep, call him adult film star all you want, but he is in porn. I started this book thinking, WHAT. THE. HELL. I had a bit of doubt starting this one, that this hero would work for me. I was really WRONG. Hold on and keep reading. Carson is sexy as hell, hot, and morphs into something I never expected. A total gentleman and true hero. I am happy to say that you will REALLY LIKE this one also!

It appears Sheridan sets out to create really flawed heroes. Ones that you may find it hard to forgive their actions, but once you get to know them, you throw your judgments out the door. You make exceptions for them, their choices, their behavior, and maybe that’s not such a bad thing. Carson, makes transitions of his own in this book. When you are finished, go back and re-read the excerpt at the beginning regarding the Scorpio sign and its three transformations. It is the guide for Carson’s growth in this book.

Grace is a very likable and dynamic character. She occupies one of my favorite groups of heroines. Feisty and book smart, but under it all when you crack her shell, is very open and loving. For someone so set in her ways, once she lets go, she lets go and goes with it. Occasionally she will second guess things, but for the most part, she is open and accepting. The perfect quality to soften the brash and guarded Carson. Grace has her own sad back story that has formed who she is also. I really loved her family and their dynamic.

The book also brings up some strong points to have the reader consider. The Tennyson line, ‘Better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.’

“….maybe having something good and then having to let it go is more painful than never knowing what you’re missing.”

I just love this couple together. Even when they are apart, they have a lasting mark on each others lives for the better. They can be off the charts scalding hot, then be very cute and sweet. Appearing outwardly as complete opposites, actually they have things in common. Sheridan knows how to write star-crossed lovers, that you are really rooting for. Several times while reading this book, I yelled out loud, “NO!” and “CRAP!”, to which I received odd looks from my husband and kids. Oops, forgot other people were in the room. Yelling out loud, for me, is a sign of a consuming story.
Sheridan continues to paint some shocking and sad history for her characters to work through and evolve. It was always approached with sensitivity, felt realistic, and believable. There were a  few scenarios that seemed outlandish, but I allowed myself to suspend disbelief and found myself immersed in the story. This story has steam, heart, yearning, and sweetness. Now go read this one and say Hi to Carson for me **wink**

EXCERPT “My I have this dance?” I ask. “I can’t believe this night Derrick, it’s our song.” “It sure is angel. Come on let’s dance to it.” I walk her over to the small dance floor area and swing her around in my arms. As we dance to our song, Lucky by Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat, I envision what it will be like to dance with her to this song on our wedding day. I pull her in closer to me so that I can feel her heart beating against mine. This day has been absolutely perfect and there’s just one more thing I need to do. I pull away from her just enough so that I can look into her eyes again. “You are so beautiful to me Chloe.” I tell her and kiss her lips ever so softly. “I love you so much Derrick. No matter what we’ve been through we always make it work. You make us work. I love you.” She kisses me back but instead of a soft kiss she kisses me fiercely. I feel tears coming down our cheeks and I pull away. “Don’t cry angel. This is all for you. Everything I do is for you so that our future is perfect. Come on we have one last surprise for the night.”   ABOUT THE AUTHOR TH Snyder         T.H. Snyder is a 33 year old mother of 2.
