Blog Tour: Trust By Ella Frank

TRUST verb: to believe in the reliability, truth, or strength of another.

Up until now, Logan Mitchell has never had much of a reason to trust anyone.
Having struggled with a self-identity crisis throughout college, he’s spent the years since then creating a sophisticated facade to present to the world.
It’s an armor he thought was impenetrable—until he met Tate Morrison.
The gorgeous, headstrong bartender he’d sat across from only months ago has taken a tight hold of his heart, and Logan is discovering that it’s time to let go.
It’s time to let someone inside.
After years of placing his dreams on hold for his family, Tate has finally chosen to do what makes him happy and follow his heart.
The one thing he never would’ve imagined was that it would lead him into the arms of a man—and not just any man—the striking, never-takes-no-for-an-answer Logan Mitchell.
Tate has fallen hard, and as his world is turned on its axis and they move forward together, he finds his life becoming more entwined with the confident, successful lawyer.
Even though neither man expected the other, it’s time to trust in their relationship—but not everything comes so easily…

When I first started this series with Try, I thought that I loved that book so much that any others in the series would be able to ever top it.  I was wrong.  I read Take and loved it even more than Try so once again I believed that nothing would top it, that there was no way that Ella Frank could write another Logan and Tate book like she had already.  Well, I will admit I was wrong again because Trust has me bowing down asking for forgiveness for ever doubting her ability to make me love Logan and Tate even more.
I absolutely refuse to give anything away out of respect for Ms. Frank, but also because I want you to read Trust, and to trust me when I say that you will not in any way shape or form be disappointed in the final book in this series.  Logan and Tate will make you believe in real love once more.  What do I mean by real love?  The kind that can make it through some hard times, that can withstand trials and tribulations and that can show it doesn’t matter who you love man or woman as long as you love them with everything you are and they do the same for you.
I will say this, Logan and Tate still have some of the hottest sex scenes I have ever read.  I was squirming in my seat more than once wishing I was either one of them, hell I ‘m not picky I’ll be Tate, I’ll be Logan, just as long as I got to be a part of those panty wetting scenes.

I hope in the future we do get to see more of Logan and Tate because I am not ready to let them go just yet.  That is the beauty of being able to read, I can go back and reread Try, Takeand Trust and fall in love with these two sexy men all over again.  Thank you Ella Frank for not only allowing me the opportunity for reviewing your book, but for also writing a series about two men who healed each other’s pain and proved that love can conquer all.

“What’s wrong with my hair? Are you saying I need to cut it?”
“No, I’m fucking not,” Logan said as he fingered the curls by Tate’s ear. “And you know it.”
“What would you do if I did shave my head?”
“Kill you? And likely get away with it since I have connections to a very reputable law firm.”
Tate chuckled and shoved Logan until he was on his back beside him. “Be serious.”
Logan turned his head on the pillow and ran his eyes over Tate’s full head of hair. Then he returned his gaze to the eyes watching him. “I would quite possibly cry. For days.”
“Over my hair? It does grow back, you know.”
“Yeah, but not for months,” he grumbled. “Can you please stop talking so calmly about this? You’re making me nervous.”
Tate shifted until his long, lean body was stretched out above him, and Logan widened his legs to allow him to settle in between.
“Don’t worry,” Tate assured him as he lowered his head to kiss the corner of his mouth. He then moved those teasing lips to Logan’s ear and whispered, “I like your hands in it too much to cut it off.”
Logan threaded his fingers through the thick waves and asked, “Like this?”
With a groan, Tate rocked his hips against him, and Logan twisted his fingers tighter.
Exactly like that.”
“Good,” he said as he wound his legs around Tate’s. “Because this way, I can have a tight hold on you when you’re trying to distract me. I’m onto you, Mr. Morrison. Don’t try to use your body against me.”
He almost lost his willpower when Tate, the cocky fucker, placed his hands on either side of his head and rubbed their erections together.
“You don’t want me to use my body on you?”
“Fuck you,” Logan said, knowing full well that, if he didn’t change the subject or get Tate the hell off him, he was going to roll him over and cease talking altogether.
Usually he’d love nothing more, but right now, he wanted to know why Tate had reacted so strongly to his question from last night—well, early morning .
“We need to talk.”

Blog Tour & Review: Take by Ella Frank

TAKE – verb: to reach for and hold in one’s hands or get into one’s possession, power or control.

Logan Mitchell is a man who’s always been more than happy to take what he wants. It’s a philosophy that’s proven lucrative in both his business and personal life, and never was it more apparent than the night he laid eyes on Tate Morrison. After pulling out all the stops and convincing the sexy bartender to give him a try—he’s hooked.

Now, Logan finds himself in a predicament that demands more from him than a smart-ass answer and his innate ability to walk away when things get too deep.

He has a choice to make, and it’ll force him to do something he’s never done before—take a chance.

Tate Morrison knows all about taking a chance. He took the biggest one of his life the night he showed up at Logan’s apartment to explore his unexpected reaction to the man.

Ever since then, he’s thought about little else.

At first he was convinced his attraction was based solely on his body’s curiosity. But the more time he spends with the silver-tongued lawyer, the more Tate realizes that their physical chemistry is only the beginning.

He’s starting to catch a glimpse of what life with Logan would be like, and it’s one full of excitement and satisfaction—a far cry from what he had in the past with his soon to be ex-wife.

Each man will face their fears as they begin to understand the true meaning of give and take. Their feelings for one another will be tested, as will their very beliefs. But now that they’ve found love where they least expected it, will they be brave enough to reach out and take it?

Holy hell and here I thought Try was one of the sexiest things I have read, I was wrong, Take blows Try away. Now stop thinking about Tate blowing Logan or vice versa because if you don’t you won’t finish reading my review.
I love how Logan and Tate’s relationship is forming and already they are growing stronger as a couple.  These two truly are what each other needs in each of their lives.  Was there drama?  Hell yes but the drama while at one point I wanted to choke the shit out of both of them, (they still are men after all and do stupid shit even when it’s a gay relationship) but that drama also made them stronger.

Ella Frank has a way of completely drawing you into the story, making you think that you are in their bedroom just sitting there and watching one sexy as hell show go down between two hot men.  I couldn’t get enough of the sex between Logan and Tate, because they were so much more than just sex, it is love between them and I want more.  I really hope that the next book comes soon. I want to see where Ms. Frank plans on taking their relationship and for the simple fact that I just want more of Logan and Tate.

“That’s your truck?”

“It’s so…”

“So what?” Logan challenged as he pulled his keys from his pocket.

“Excuse me. I’ll have you know I was driving this baby all through college and she still runs like a dream.”

Tate watched as Logan walked over to run his hand over the scratched-up tailgate, and he was amazed that he even made that look sexy. Like he was stroking a lover.

“And it’s a she, huh?”

Now around at the passenger’s side, Logan opened the door and looked at him over the bed of the truck. “Yeah. Jealous?”

Laughing, Tate walked over to where Logan stood with a hand on the door and kissed him slowly on the mouth.

“I’m jealous of anything you stroke like that.”

“Get in the truck, Tate.”

“Or else?”

Logan stepped forward, crowding him back against the inside frame of the vehicle. “You’re not ready for the or else…”

Blog Tour and Review: Try by Ella Frank

OH MY GOD! Ella Frank can write a seriously hot, emotional and suck you in romance. For me, everything Ella Frank writes is good, really good. In fact, she’s one of the few authors that is a read automatically. Anything she puts out.
This time Ella has ventured into the world of Male/Male Romances. And she made quite the impact with it. I enjoy M/M romances, but prefer M/F romances. After reading Try, I may be permanent convert to M/M romances only. It. Was. That. Hot.
Logan leads a hedonistic lifestyle. He does what he wants, when he wants. Or I should say he does who he wants, when he wants. And they flock to him. He exudes confidence, cockiness and sexuality. It just radiates off him and people are drawn to him, men and women.
Tate is trying to get divorced, she won’t sign the papers. He’s straight, his family is conservative and he just wants to be left alone. Logan sees Tate. Logan wants Tate. Logan doesn’t leave Tate alone.
Logan’s pursuit of Tate had a single minded focus and intensity that would put a heat seeking missile to shame. He doesn’t let the fact that Tate is straight stop him from pursuing him. Tate didn’t stand a chance.
When Tate and Logan finally get together it is OH MY GOD HOT! Give me a glass of water, turn on the A/C on high and get a fan. Be prepared for your book to spontaneously combust.
But it’s not the just sex between Tate and Logan that’s so addictive. Their interactions draw you in. They fight on so many things and in a wide range of ways. But once they finally start talking, it’s the sweetest thing. It will make your heart melt.
Each of them has to grow in a different way. Each is in new territory and has to find their way. While charting this new territory, they end up hurting each other, pissing each other off and almost coming to blows. But as they fine their way, they always find their way back to each other.
This is a MUST READ!

“Everytime we do this, it convinces me that I’m exactly where I need to be.”
There’s that saying, “write what you know”. Well this doesn’t apply to Ella. She took a chance and stepped into the m/m world and I applaud her for one helluva story. Ella wrote a story that ensnared me with the way she portrayed a confident and arrogant bisexual man and a straight man to come together(pun intended) and just Try with one another. If you’ve never read a m/m story, this is a great start to this genre.
Tate works at a bar that local man whore Logan frequents. Immediately Logan is attracted to Tate while Tate is oblivious. Tate just sees Logan as a person who tips really well and wants to keep as a regular customer while Logan wants Tate as somebody who he is sexually attracted to and wants to take that sexual step with him. Logan is straight forward and the smooth talker. Tate is hesistant and kinda shy because he’s never had sexual feelings for another man but Tate can give Logan a run for his money in his “pillow talk”. Now for me the thrill of this book was the bantering, the chase AND when the foreplay AND the sex which is basically in the whole book. Let’s get down to the nitty gritty…the sex. Aye Dios Mio, it was Caliente…HOT! The visuals I got…*walks in freezer*
But this story is not all about sex. It’s about self discovery. It’s stepping out of your comfort zone and just trying something new and different that could be the best thing for you. I love how honest they were with each other. When something wasn’t right with both, they talked it out and sexed it out. The word Try works for Tate and Logan. Tate, to try a relationship with a man. Logan, to try a relationship.
Ella has kept my attention with her writing and this is another series that will most definitely be on my TBR pile.

Excerpt for Try by Ella Frank
Logan stroked his slippery palm up Tate’s engorged length, watching his face go from sexual torment to one of pure, unadulterated lust while his hips moved, driving his cock through Logan’s fist.
“Open your eyes,” Logan demanded as he continued to pump his hand up and down.
Tate’s brown eyes opened, catching on his, and Logan could tell that he’d finally let go of all thoughts and was just feeling in this moment.
“Fuck yes,” Tate rasped, right before he cupped Logan’s face and tackled him backward onto the bed.

Review: Temptation (Temptation #1) by K.M. Golland

I HATE cheating! In books, in real life, doesn’t matter! I HATE cheating!
That being said, I LOVED Temptation! How is this possible? Temptation has cheating in it. So, how in the world can I like the book? Let me explain………
Temptation is the story of 35 year old, married, stay at home mom, who goes back to work. On her first day, she meets Bryce Clark, boss, and billionaire extraordinaire.  She feels an instant attraction to him, as he does to her.
Bryce pursues her with a creepy stalker like passion. Alexis resists Bryce. She has every intention of staying faithful to her husband, Rick. But things don’t always work out the way we plan, do they?
The cheating in this book didn’t bother me so much. Alexis didn’t set out to cheat on her husband. She wanted to stay faithful to her husband. But sometimes temptation is just too much and people give in. Now, there’s part I can’t tell you, because it reveals too much, but Rick is not completely blameless in this. You’ll have to read to understand.
Bryce is the creepy-stalker like billionaire not used to people telling him no. He pursues Alexis and respects her boundaries, to some extent. He does keep putting temptation in her way.
Bryce and Alexis are both at fault for this. Alexis stayed in the path of temptation and Bryce kept throwing it in front of her.
This was a very well written story and I have to admit, I loved it, cheating and all. To quote Johnny Depp “If you love two people at the same time, choose the second. Because if you really loved the first one, you wouldn’t have fallen for the second.”
BTW – that quote is in this book as well!
Now I need to read the next two and find out how it all ends. I have a feeling it’s going to get worse, before it gets better!
Find it on GoodReads!
