How long is forever?
Charlotte and Nathan have been friends since Charlotte’s birth. She was Nathan’s to protect since the moment she was placed into his arms. Nathan is Charlotte’s first love, her first kiss, her first everything, including her first heartbreak. The more that I read the more emotional I got. When it looks like there can be no happily ever after for Charlotte and Nathan, I know for me personally, I wanted to cry because you know that these two are meant for one another, they are a part of each other. Mistakes, even big one happen in every relationship, people do things sometimes intentionally and other times unintentionally to hurt others. It’s the people who learn from those mistakes and work to correct them are the ones that deserve second chances. Does Nathan deserve a second chance? Some would say no, but those who believe in a bond formed at birth, a bond that can overcome heartbreak and pain, well then those people would say hell yes!
When I first started reading The Charlotte Chronicles I wasn’t sure what to expect. It had the feel of another book that I just recently read and loved so I was a little skeptical that I would want to continue reading it. But then, I just couldn’t stop reading it, that fear that I just stated about in the previous sentence, slowly disappeared and it was replaced with a need to read more about Charlotte and Nathan. I was hooked and never wanted it to end. It is it’s own story, one that should come with a warning label that says “Be warned, you will feel happiness, love, angst, sad and at times pain for what these two go through”, because you will feel each and every one of these things. I for one can’t wait to for the next book, because if it is even as half as good as The Charlotte Chronicles was, well then we will be in for another roller coaster ride of emotions.
