A Message from Kristen about If I Had Never Met You: From the minute song writer Jake Keller lays eyes on Addison Wade, a tune sets up residence in his head. As he gets to know her, the tune becomes a song. Their song. Addie’s song. The stakes are the highest they’ve ever been for him when he finally sings it to her, but will it be enough to keep her? I can’t thank Brad Yunek and Dan Keseloff enough for writing this beautiful song to accompany Jake and Addie’s story. I hope you love it as much as I do! Kristen Proby - signature

About LISTEN TO ME: In New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Kristen Proby’s brand new series, five best friends open a hot new restaurant, but one of them gets much more than she bargained for when a sexy former rock star walks through the doors—and into her heart. Seduction is quickly becoming the hottest new restaurant in Portland, and Addison Wade is proud to claim 1/5 of the credit. She’s determined to make it a success and can’t think of a better way to bring in new customers than live music. But when former rock star Jake Keller swaggers through the doors to apply for the weekend gig, she knows she’s in trouble. Addie instantly recognizes him—his posters were plastered all over her bedroom walls in high school—he’s all bad boy…exactly her type and exactly what she doesn’t need. Jake Keller walked away from the limelight five years ago and yearns to return to what’s always driven him: the music. If he gets to work for a smart-mouthed, funny-as-hell bombshell, all the better. But talking Addie into giving him the job is far easier than persuading her that he wants more than a romp in her bed. Just when she begins to drop her walls, Jake’s past finally catches up with him. Will Addie be torn apart once again or will Jake be able to convince her to drown out her doubts and listen to her heart?   Author Pic - Kristen ProbyAbout Kristen Proby: New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author Kristen Proby is the author of the popular With Me in Seattle series. Blog Tour, Guest Post & Giveaway: Safe With Me (With Me in Seattle #5) by Kristen Proby

Okay, so I’ve only been waiting for this story for the past few books.  No big, right.  Pfft.  I’m a patient girl.  NOT!!!  I’ve been dying for Brynna’s story since Under the Mistletoe With Me.  Brynna Vincent is on the run from some kind of dangerous threat.  Matt and Caleb Montgomery have been working to keep her and her twin daughters safe.  During the course of the series we have seen something brewing between Brynna and Caleb.  Finally, FINALLY, we get their story.

Light up the fireworks.  Shoot off the confetti canons.  Safe With Me has arrived!
The Queen of Swoon has done it again!  Caleb Montgomery, as like most men in this series, is H-O-T!  He’s a badass ex Navy Seal.  He’s a Montgomery.  Need I really say more?  Yes, yes I must because there is so much more to Caleb than his physical attributes and his DNA.  He’s a protector.  A hero.  And sadly, he’s a bit damaged.  His last mission left him with deep, emotional wounds; demons that he can’t escape.  Over the past year of watching over Brynna and her girls, they have been carving their way into his heart.  He’s grown attached to them and vice versa.  Unfortunately, he thinks he’s undeserving of them and this way of thinking leads him to making the biggest mistake he’ll ever make.  A mistake that not only results in heartache, but one that may cost Brynna and her daughters their life.
Brynna Vincent has my upmost respect.  She’s a mom who, regardless of being married at one time to her girls’ dad, was basically already living a single mom life.  Her ex-husband was married to his job.  He let that take precedence over his family.  It’s sad that he never really bothered to get to know his girls; they are the sweetest little things.  Brynna is so strong.  Over the years she’s had to endure a lot.  Now with danger on her trail and Caleb protecting her, her life isn’t the only thing at risk.  Caleb is the first man since her ex to pique her interest.  She wants him.  She knows he feels it too.  So why not get together?  Why does he keep fighting what’s between them?  She swore to herself she wouldn’t beg for a man’s affections ever again.  If he turns his back on her, that’s it, they’re done.
Oh, Ms. Proby had my stomach in knots with this one.  Safe With Me had me reaching for a tissue one minute and in the next I’m reaching for Tums.  It was the perfect amount of angst, heat, and emotion.  And if the turmoil between Caleb and Brynna wasn’t enough, she dropped a major bombshell on us that left me speechless.  From a writing standpoint, I’d say it was brilliant.  The one thing I have continued to say about this series is that Kristen Proby writes like real life.  Real life continues, evolves and at times aches.  She showed us just how real the Montgomerys are.  They are not as perfect as they seem.  There’s a crack in the façade.  But like true Montgomery fashion, above all else is love.  What doesn’t kill us, makes us stronger, right?
Now that I’ve inhaled this one, I shall “patiently” wait for the next installment.

Blog Tour & Giveaway: Rock With Me by Kristen Proby

Kristen Proby, the Queen of Swoon, has once again rocked my world!  Rock With Me delivers with the love, heat and tenderness I have come to enjoy from Ms. Proby.
Samantha Williams is protective of her family, doesn’t take crap, and is independent to her core.  This woman is fierce!  She guards her heart well.  When Leo Nash, front man for the rock band Nash, sets his sights on her, Sam’s walls are immediately in place and solidified.  She’s been burned by stardom before and has no desire to return there nor does she wish to surrender her heart.  Leo has never had to chase a woman before; usually they just fall at his feet and he never keeps them around long enough to introduce them to his bandmates; his family.  There’s something about Sam that gets under his skin.  Her ice cold demeanor does nothing to keep him away.  Will his perseverance pay off or will he be the one left burned?
Leo Nash took me completely by surprise.  Don’t let the tattoos and piercings fool you.  There is so much more to him than meets the eye.  This man is beautiful; inside and out.  Life dealt him a horrible hand at an early age, but that remarkably did not ruin him.  He’s got an amazing, loving and giving heart.  He is so patient with Sam.  He wants her.  She is so stubborn though, he knows she would freak if she knew just how much he truly wants her.  However, he manages nicely to ease in and take control.
“Just let me do what I do best, baby.  Let me take care of you.”
For as strong and fierce as Sam is, she is just as equally sweet and warm.  I loved getting this look at her.  She has this vulnerability that explains why she hides behind the freezing temperatures she throws out.  Leo’s nickname for her is sunshine and besides his reasons for it, it’s so fitting.  When she lets the walls down there is this light that shines out of her.  She has to find the trust within herself to take the leap and give her and Leo a chance.  It’s a beautiful thing when it works.
“Samantha, I’m not going to make love to you tonight.  But I’m going to kiss the fuck out of you.”
The With Me in Seattle series leaves my heart and emotions content.  The books have that perfect amount of angst; just enough to make your heart rate jump and make it real.  All the men are delicious and so attentive.  The women are strong and sharp.  Each story is different from the last, but they all connect beautifully.  Past characters and future characters come together throughout the series.  This whole series has swept me away.  I absolutely adore it and cannot wait for more.
